Need keyboard for the office!

I'm in a cubicle with many others around me.  I was looking at the cherry browns but realized, they might be still too loud for the environment.  

Any suggestions?  I'm also looking to spend $150 and below.   Are there any mechanicals that are quiet?

You could go with a WASD with the rrubber o ring mod.

Topres are also quiet but more than $150.

PCB mounted board with browns are also quiet

Get anything and then add soft-landing pads or o-rings.

Brown switch with O-ring
Black switch (don't bottom out)
Red switch (maybe with O-ring coz very easy to bottom out)

Or just get a scissor switch keyboard, which is not all that bad.

I'd say a CMstorm or leopold in Red switches with o rings should work well.

Or, wait for WASD to come out with reds, though it may be a bit overbudget, depending on what he finalizes the prices to.

Also, keep in mind that "top-out" still makes a noise.

I'm using a Filco modded to clears with Cherry doubleshots at work and I don't think anyone realizes that it is anything special.  Well, unless they look at it and notice the RGBs.

My Choc Pro w/ Browns and WASD caps is pretty quiet too if I'm typing normally but it can set up a racket if I get on a roll and start bottoming out all over the place.

Black or clear would be the easiest to type on softly, but you might need to be prepared to build some finger muscles. I've got a board with o-ringed browns for the office at the moment and it works reasonably well, although I prefer the feel without o-rings. I *might* swap it with my new Leopold with clears.

I am using a Filco brown at work and people don't mind it at all. Their chatting is noisier.

For my part, I have bought a headphone

I've tried every one of my keyboards in the office, but the one I prefer the most is my variable Realforce (Topre switch; switched between my 103UB and 86UB)  I now work from home, so I use my SSK primarily :)

Codek, curious to know what you end up with. I bought a Deck 82 (has MX blacks) a little while ago for home use it's not too loud. Was contemplating the Deck 105-key MX blacks version for the office, though might go with a Das Silent. If you're looking for a small form factor, worth a look. You can always turn off the obnoxious LEDs.
