Don't MY caps have different stems than MX caps?

Different switch type, but the stems are compatible.

Are you sure those are 2-shots?  Image is small and no model number...

I had one of these boards. The fit cherry stems just fine.

I'm sure. It's clear from the image.
You need to look at the ~, F, J, numpad + keycaps. They're different between lasered and doubleshot versions.

In the end, for under $5, the relegendables are 100% worth it. If it does come out to be lasered then I will just throw it in our maintenance shop at work to replace the 3000000 year old dell rubberdome.

How about the keys, and left ? On my modern MY boards, these had different stabilizers that were not compatible with MX. I don't know about the older type of MY (with black shaft), though

Unlikely, but if it turns out to be a problem, you can just transplant the stabilizers as well. Harder than a simple key swap but not a whole lot harder.

MY switches are pretty bad man.  You might be better off with the RD.

Well then I guess I will dumpster it and be happy with the relegendables if I can get them. Its sort of just a shot in the dark but for $.99 + $9.99 shipping I can't be too mad with a bad result.
