I personally really like the purple, and I don't get how because it's purple it means it's mainstream?
And what's wrong with them becoming more mainstream, and as a result more people using them? Surely that's a good thing!

I sometimes prefer things to be kept niche and out of reach of dumb fanboys.

I like that they are making all different colors. Not sure if it persuades me to get one, but at least we are past 'gamer blue'.
