I have just bought a sun type 5c keyboard. I know it doesn't work with PC's but it was only £6 BNIB with a mouse. Is there any way to get it to work with PC's (Linux) because I heard they where quite nice rubber domes.

This
is the only project I found but it was never finished. Also there is at least 1 device that can do 5c to USB... and it's damned expensive (~$200).
Sun 5c boards are some of the nicest RD's I've ever had.

kbdbabel has a SUN-PS/2 converter.
http://www.kbdbabel.org/
and this is a USB converter.

I found this site flyball posted offers a complete specification of sun keyboard, which describes
protocol and scan codes. Very nice! I'll make my own if I got a sun keyboard in hand.

Thanks guys. I will check something out. I don't really want to build my own pcb. I was hoping someone had done some work with a teensy, maybe it could be my first hardware project.
