What's the build quality of the choco pro and mini compared to the good old widow. there's no real big issues with them either right?
Good old widow? xD
There are a lot more people buying widows and thus a lot more manufacturing faults found with it. On the one hand it has a more standard layout on the other the most common issue is keypresses hitting neighbouring keys. In my honest opinion razer is not the most reliable when it comes to manufacturing.
The choc mini isn't without fault but it does come with pom keycaps and is a portable format. The faults tend to be keys not working (which can be fixed if you have some electrical experience) or keys breaking which can also happen to the widow and even Filcos.
I'd choose the noppoo (or race perhaps) again over any widow. It is also available with more variety. The following is my impressions based on what i've read here and based that you don't want to spend the extra for a filco, wasd or das(which would all be good solid choices): I'd probably say if backlighting is something you want go with the Race, if full size is what you want go with a Rosewill then choc pro (if you are on a budget). If you don't mind replacing keycaps (as the raised lettering isn't all that nice but you can live with it) and want a tkl go with a cm storm. Otherwise choc mini is a good choice if you want a niche style keyboard, my biggest gripe is the fact that the right shift causes me problems when I want to use | just annoys my hand.
I have not actually had the chance to physically hold a blackwidow out of it's box but it did seem pretty heavy. I think you will find the information you want by reading the posts in this forum and in the wiki

. Please realise the information i've got is only personal opinion with a little bit of fact, im not trying to write an academic paper on the subject
