Revised:
I'm looking to try out a bunch of keyboards. I recently found out Unicomp's are 2KRO so I don't want those. And only ANSI / US Layout.
Wants:
* Trackpoint Keyboard (M13 or the Trackpoint IV Rubber-dome, Black preferred) KPD8923 (Beige) or 01K1260 (Black)
* Realforce 103 55G Uniform (Black preferred)
* 104 Keyboard with Cherry MX Clear switches.
So I'll consider any Trackpoint keyboard now. I've seen some Trackpoint IV's that are rubber-dome but also 104 key. Hoping not to spend more than $40-50 on a rubber-dome though. Otherwise M13 would work too, preferably black but I've read that the lettering on those wear off pretty easily which sucks. So maybe a beige board won't be so bad. I type a lot so keys wearing out defeats the purpose of having lettering on them in the first place. (I'd rather take blank if they're just going to wear out, I don't look at my keyboard while typing anyways).
I've been wanting to try out a Realforce but also prefer a numpad so I'll want a 103 version, and I prefer higher resistance so 55G uniform.
And the final keyboard I want to try is a clear cherry MX board. I've heard they're like browns but stiffer. That was my real dislike with the DAS was the the blue keys were too light and I couldn't get used to it. Might try again later. I have no real preference on the make of the board as long as it works. Standard 104 keys with clear switches.
I'll also look for a set of PBT caps for the DAS potentially if the price is right. I have the ultimate edition with blank keys but a lot of them have gotten worn down and look shiny and feel different.
If you're wondering about shipping costs, I live in Sammamish, WA, USA.
