I've recently started pissing about with these. Anyone else tried/use one? I'm pleasantly surprised so far.

Apparently he'd applied some homemade modifications to his.  Actually, it was from seeing that in the news a little while ago that I got interested in them in the first place.

If you're sick of your throat burning, stop buying American cigarettes with that fire retardant **** on the papers. I import all mine from Europe since 2009, not only are they much better cigarettes, they are much cheaper too. I usually buy Gitanes Brunes for $26 a carton.
I tried electronics, but was pretty meh about them. I smoke because I like the smoke, the taste, the mouthfeel, and electronics aren't even close to the same. I'm not a big smoker though, and when it's cold and I don't want to suffer, I don't have one. I've gotten use to not smoking indoors, not even at home, which is really the only appeal I see for these - 'smoking' indoors where you normally can't. Them being marketed as a quit smoking is silly, you're just shifting from one to the other. If someone wants to quit, they just need to do so.

I've smoked for about twelve years now, I'm one of those chipper smokers though rather than a two packs a day guy. I have no intentions of quitting or anything, I'm just curious really. The electric cig isn't the same, but it's alright in it's own way.  I quite like it.

Or just RYO with elements or something... bulk tobacco is still tastier than any tailored and filters are a dime a dozen (literally?).

Rollies lol. Smoked those things for about a year one time as that's all I could get. Used to wake up with all kinds of nasty crap in my throat.

I Don't smoke tobacco but I have an E-cig called the "omicron" that is designed for hash oil. I smoke it everywhere. Love taking hash oil rips walking around campus.

Filters are for girls. I've been smoking proper straights since 1995. Added bonus of hardly anyone ever wanting to bum smokes off me.

HELLA TUFF DUDE RIGHT HERE GUYS
but really, i prefer the taste of unfiltered rollies over tailoreds as well... and if it's too harsh just puff less.

also, maybe it's just me, but 'only got rollies' never worked for me; people would still ask if they could roll one. on the flipside, loose tobacco is still cheaper so it's not that big a deal to donate a pinch.

As soon as I found out that you can't vape THC through it I lost interest.
Don't you wish Carnifex was at your side?

Yes, vaping THC or laudanum or something would be great.

See my above post. There are e cigs out there that use glycerin as a base to hold thc in one form or another, but the "e cig" I have takes straight hash oil. Works damn well too. Milky rips walking from class to class of some super potent smoke.

There's a German resource that lists all tobacco additives. Obviously this is only accurate for the brands available in Germany, and the same brand sold in different countries is usually not the same stuff. Drum bought in Europe is nice, Drum bought in the U.S. is yuck.

I've been rolling for years. Besides the enjoyment of the ritual, packaged cigarettes taste like **** in comparison.

To be a little more on topic though.. got this nagging suspicion that E-Cigs give you brain aids. I'd rather have straight up cancer.

Rollies have always tasted like **** to me, I've smoked them on and off for over ten years now.  I'm really getting into the whole vaping thing, I have a 510 Titan Tank system with various flavour E-liquids and it's really just as good as smoking.
