RGB Doubleshots + Wyse doubleshots

I want a White on RGB doubleshot kit. (refer to the leopold keyboard on the picture)

I also would like to buy wyse doubleshots like the ones on the picture ( leopold).

u should grab a set or two anyway. u'll appreciate that u did. coz first the resell values are pretty good. second u might find urself needing one down the road.

OK, one thing about getting those signature plastics (i.e. RBG set) or cherry corp profile keycaps. They will be a tad shorter (lower profile) than the typical ones found on Filco, Leopold, what have you. I am not sure about the WYSE profile. lysol will probably know better.

so u'll be in a world of adventure if u go for cherry corp keys.

unfortunately cherry corp is the best in the world of ABS double shots for modern keyboards

the thinner wyse DS were made by SP so their profile should be the same

they aren't sold, unless a member here sells them.

you'd have to buy a donor cherry board to get the keycaps.

 decent price, except u'll need to clean it and hopefully it is not too worn out. If you have problem with the PF1 2 3 key whatever... then maybe it is not for you. But if u are only going after the alphas then u should be good.

Second, depending on what you want to do... it seems u want to have a black surround to your white keys... then u'll need to spend more or a lot more to match the profile of ur cherry keys. U'll need to find a black donor board on ebay, which is easier than finding a white one. or u can ask around here

If u just want to replicate white beige cherry double shot, ur life is a lot easier. go to moogle kit group buy and order a kit to replace the incompatible keys from cherry corp. The incompatible keys include:  modifiers (alt ctrl etc), space bar and caps lock or more depending on where u harvest them from.

Regarding to the key compatibility, If you go for a full size G80 POS black board then u'll only have space bar that is not compatible. However u'll spend a lot more to get a hand on those. If u go for G81 black double shots, again u'll need to get a black moogle kit to make things close to perfect.

27 Euro + 5Euro shipping that is a bit more than 35USD. Plus ascaii  mentioned there might be a slight price increase. but u are right, the condition will probably be better.
