This poor guy is quite obviously in distress, and yet all you give him is a crossfire of nerd ego battles? You're brilliant with keyboards, but not so hot with the emotional support side. Not everyone is, but I'd suggest keeping it zipped, until you consider how
you would feel, coming from the same perspective as he is.
Don't worsen his suffering by bickering over your inherent self-image induced ego insecurities. Being a man is about compassion and understanding, shutting up and listening when someone else is in trouble, not bombarding them with ill-conceived "advice" and telling them what mistakes they're making. A calmer, sympathising approach is what is needed.
Smoking weed helps me a lot
Really? Maybe you'd pass on to him the wisdom that this chemically (read: synthetic, counterfeit) induced "wisdom" has enlightened you to, then? Smoking weed numbs the mind, which masks the problems, which is as much "help" as painting over rust: it's still there, still eating away, but you just don't see it... for now.
Too many egos in here, fighting to be seen as the champion. You're missing the point entirely, when it boils down to it, as being a man IS NOT about who's toughest, who knows most about what, or how to get "revenge" on someone who hurled an insult at you. Being a man is about learning how to forgive those who intentionally hurt you, shut your own ego and opinions off, think how to detach your ego from the situation, and think calmly about the hurt and distress that a fellow human being is going through, and then trying to help them. Selflessness is what is required, and yes - that's a big hurdle to get over if you've been conditioned by a society to live that way,
but we should know better.
There's no escaping the grace and eternal love of God, and if you are struggling, OP, then as much as I am against "converting" people to Christianity or in any way ramming it down your throat, look at these problems from God's perspective - they're nothing to him, creator of everything you can see, and everything you can't. He created atoms themselves, he created natural laws, nature itself, the forces that govern EVERYTHING and the people that we are. If he can do all
that, then I'm certain he can help you with what seems to be insurmountable strife and depressing burdens upon you.
I'm not into religion, I am into God. He's my guide, not a grouping or a common (and often wrong) mindset

enemy to drop dead"
