Just a heads up for folks looking to snag a deal on one of these. Today newegg is unlocking this keyboard as the 5th shell shocker deal of the day. Keep an eye out! Sale opens 6PM PDT.

It's a great deal, but Newegg won't be able to ship this to Illinois, New York or North Carolina. Bummer, since I live in NC

Wonder how much they're going to cut the price? These often run for $79.99 with free shipping. This one is at $109.99 with free shipping at the moment. Any comments from owners on the USB cables on these? There are lots of negative comments in the newegg reviews about the rear USB connector being a weak point / point of failure. I have one of the early blue cherry ones with integrated cable so don't know.

You may be right, might just be the blue, black, and red versions at that price. A little surprising to me that reds would be cheaper than browns but looks like might be the case.

I have this model with browns. It's great...have not had a problem with the USB connection but I also don't move my keyboard ever or remove the cable.

Depends on if you want the keypad or tenkeyless I guess.
Seems like a lot of folks prefer tenkeyless, but not everyone.
