Backlit mechanical numpad?
« on: Thu, 31 May 2012, 23:39:32 »
I would like to know is there a backlit MX switch mechanical numpad in the market? Any type of MX switch would be fine.
I'm really happy with my Filco MX brown numpad tho, but can't see the keys in the dark
Thank you in advance.

Just went through the same thing. Received my CM Storm Trigger today. Meets all your criteria.

Meets none of them as it is a full-size keyboard, the OP wants a separate number pad.

There aren't many number pads around and very few of them actually look nice! Never seen a backlit one sadly....

Deck made a backlit numpad once, but I've never seen one for sale. If you see one, best snap it up as fast as you can, it won't be around for a second chance.
I trolled Geekhack and all I got was an eponymous SPOS.

There was some Korean kit numpad, I believe it had led mount option. If you can't find the 5 easy, get a keycap with a more noticeable nub!

Yeah, I saw a picture of it in the RGBy topic, I think Taeyoung has one. It matched whatever keyboard he's got. I can't tell all the awesome korean custom keyboard apart, so I don't know which.

Also, if you can't find the 5, grab some old WYSE keycaps, their nub is strong.
