Put some new stuff on my 17L a little while ago and I don't think I ever posted it. Here it is with my new FC660C.

Yeah, they keycaps are the only thing that disappoints me about this board. Would a Realforce set fit on it, or is the right shift incompatible?

Also, with these Glock mag baseplates I can fit 23 rounds of 9mm in a single mag. Quite ridiculous  :))

Nice find, good price too! Is it a Norinco?

Pretty much every single thing except the alt, ctrl, windows, fn key, and right shift, will fit the RF keycaps. Other than that issue, the 660C is freaking amazing.

Man... I wish custom parts and accessories for my CZ weren't so damn expensive :(

I'd love to have a bull-barrel .22 target pistol, but I don't. Or an Automag-IV in 10mm magnum ... don't.

What I have (no pics right now) is a rifle, currently in .308 winchester, whose story places it in the spanish-american war. But to several who've looked at it, the full-length wood stock says "WWI mauser" -- but if so, it doesn't look precisely like any other WWI mauser I see in books. Swedish, and one other look close but the action is wrong. Or the bolt is right but the stock is clearly wrong.

Maybe it's the equivalent of a ghetto green? Parts bin A, parts bin B, a little lube, some scuff marks ...

I do have a .22 rifle ... a marlin 60, with a scope that, while consistent, is also precisely misaligned. At 50yds you hold three inches up, and about 1 and change to the left. Then you hit your target dead on.

Looking great, I love all the FDE.

My dad picked up a gen 4 g34 a few weeks ago, I need to get out to the range with him and do a side by side comparison with my 17L.

Right now I'm using Zev sights with the fiber optic front. Haven't had a chance to try out much else, but I'm very happy with these.

It came in on Friday. I haven't taken it to the range yet but first impression is this thing is freaking awesome!!! The bushing makes it look better even if it doesn't improve accuracy like they said.

Not really. The bushing is threaded to the slide. It came with a little wrench to take it off the slide. The bushing is also holding the front sight in place. It has competition rear sight, custom hammer, short reset trigger (3 lbs @ single action), 11 lbs recoil spring. The only thing I don't like is that it has safety instead of decocker. I'll have to practice lowering the hammer manually to put it in double action before each stage at the match.

Thanks for the info ... just asking since I have to jump through extra hoops to get one of those.

Also I heard the Decoker is one of the things that makes the trigger feel not so great vs the safety model....

Also how you liking those aluminum grips with the grip tape?

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I've had this for a few months now

My search for my perfect EDC ended with the pro tek. Ever since I first shot an old CZ 75 B many many years ago I knew they were something special. A well worn 75 B feels pretty good, but the work Angus Hobdell and team at CZ custom do is just a whole different level.

Plus you know what they say...Anybody who uses a CZ in a shooting competition is basically a cheater  :D

^supposed to be one of most accurate off the shelf 9mm on the market.
$1665.00 for groups substantially less than 3" at 50 yards... Not bad at all.

I agree  :D  But it's not really off the shelf. They took a stock SP01 Shadow and added custom work to it. $1665 for a custom gun isn't too bad. There is a long waiting list though.
