Agh they are lame. I wish I could just see what you are seeing. I really dislike windows Vista. Everything is a hassle on that OS. Installing a printer on vista takes hours and always fails unless I install it manually because the security prompt for modifying system files is always stopping things. Anyway, enough ranting for me!
If you are plugging it in through front usb ports try using one the back for now. Make sure it is not plugged in through any usb hubs or anything of that sort. If you are looking at the device manager window, look for the device. It should be under Human Interface Devices, but most likely it will be under Universal Serial Bus controllers. When it is plugged in and it didn't install correctly, it will show up as a little yellow icon with an exclamation mark I believe. Right click on it and either select 'uninstall' (if you can) and then unplug it and try plugging it in again or select 'check for driver updates'. If that is an option. I haven't had a device not install correctly for a while so I can't remember what I did. I just hope it's vista and that your awesome keyboard isn't broken.

Maybe also update windows, try using windows update. Windows might have miscellaneous updates for your computer in the misc section of windows update. Try these drivers:

I meant to ask, by the way, when you received your keyboard was the package damaged or did the contents of your box seem like they were tampered with?
