So, ekw808, just to clarify, this "at cost" sale of your extra 3D Topre CC skull is only open to people who have never owned a CC skull before, correct? Not just those who don't own a 3D Topre skull, right? Or if you don't own any skulls right now, but have in the past, that disqualifies you as well, correct?
It's obviously yours to sell to whom you wish and for however much you want to ask for it. But I don't understand why people have such a problem with others buying these to trade. When I first started collecting CC's, I paid too much for mine and later became disgusted by the whole profiteering aspect of the market. I sold both of my skulls for what I paid for them, and vowed to never pay above "retail" for these again. I was able to get a Topre 3D skull during the last sale at EK, but only because that was all that was left after a few minutes. I would have preferred another skull, say an Ionospheric Blue or Salute MX, but they were snatched up before I could check out. Everyone hoards these things and they are all gone within minutes of coming in stock, regardless of whether they want that particular one or not. So I don't see what ig wrong with getting one for the purpose of trading it for another skull that you like more. It only becomes an issue if someone tries to "flip" them like Elton did just to make a profit, or if trades are made for other items with a higher valuation than you paid for it.
Most may not remember Soviet Russia, but during those times, goods were not readily available at all times in stores. When a store would get stock of an item, people would line up to buy the item, regardless of what it was, or if they needed it or not. If a store was stocking shoes one day, for example, you would buy the pair of shoes, whether they were in your size or not. You could always trade them later for another size with someone, or for something of equal value that someone else managed to purchase. This is what we are seeing happen with these CC's now. Welcome to the future, comrades!
