Glad I could be of help brother!
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Received this wonderful package recently, even a little earlier than expected. Definitely one of the best packages I've ever received.

Wouldn't be too jealous VesperSAINT, you have a pretty epic collection there :)

Here is one of it all setup at work:

Really tried for some red V2 brobots to take up the esc position but unfortunately no luck.

Today I got a bill for $120, on top of the $60 I already paid for a ****in partial cavity.

**** dentists :(

Perhaps you can return the cavity and get your money refunded?

Legitimately made me laugh out loud

I also got these wireless flash triggers, but unfortunately they do not work with Pentax.  If you have a Nikon, they are in my WTS thread now.

eBay my friend, even with only a 80% chance of every LED working, you still get 1000 chinese LED's for the price of 10 local LED's

Can only agree here, you can often get ten+ times as many from china for the same price. Shipping might take longer but for me that's totally worth it.

'got them on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1000pcs-2x3x4mm-2x3x4-mm-Rectangle-White-Water-Clear-LED-Light-Leds-Lamp-/221236211597

So far I've counted and tested 500.  'haven't come across a dud yet but I must say that the packaging could have been better.  The LEDs came sealed in a static bag with a silica gel pouch.  This was then stuffed in a bubble mailer.  Some pins are bent but nothing that I can straighten out by hand.

Ordered and paid November 20.  It arrived December 19 but I waited until after the holidays to pick it up to avoid excessive duties from the customs collector :)) It worked.  I only had to pay the inspection fee PHP56 (~US$1.24).

When I said 80%, that was with my dealing with colored LEDs, maybe white ones will be more consistent.

I had about 3 different colored "green" LEDs and I'd say 80% of them were a consistent green. Not that 20% of them didn't work at all :thumb:

I should have clarified more.

I remember when I got a 3,5mm female to female adapter from ebay from Hong Kong. The adapter itself was about 3cm long. It was wrapped in 3 or 4 layers of bubble wrap...

With a 1.5v battery.  Just testing that they light up and that they are indeed white. ;)

Here is a list of a whole bunch of 2x3x4mm rectangular LEDs.

A lot of us have ordered from 'colorfulplace888' and I know a couple people have ordered from 'goodbuy7888' as well.

The resistors depend on which ones you get.  Most of the white, blue, green LEDs will take the same resistors, but I think the red, orange and yellow will take a different resistor.  You will need to check for the specific LEDs you get...

Not yet, because I don't have any other sphericals besides the R4 SPH set, and I want to wait for the repair kit before I use those. :)

A little lighter weight than a Ducky, but very solid, with some nice touches I wish Ducky would adopt: rubberized tips on the rear flip-out feet, white cable to match body color, even a neat gadget that locks the USB cable onto the board to prevent accidental disconnects.  And it seems to be a Year of the Snake model.   :thumb:  Cherry profile keycaps, feel like pad-printed thin ABS.

(Obligatory crappy cell-phone pic...)

Curious to see your thoughts. Also what stabs does it have??

It's a nice keyboard, I'd recommend this one to anyone looking for a decent full-size mechanical model.  Stabilizers seem to be Cherry plate-mount type.  I'll have to look, but I think they included some extra stabilizers in the box, along with a nifty Keycool branded double-ended cap puller, and the obligatory WASD replacement caps (lilac) and arrow keys (blue), plus a red Esc keycap.  Does anyone ever use these?

Typing on the keyboard now, definitely a keeper.  Not backlit, so I'll probably take this into the office, but this one was certainly worth getting it from China.

How much in total?

About $51 from Diatec, and $23 service charge from Tenso.

'got them on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1000pcs-2x3x4mm-2x3x4-mm-Rectangle-White-Water-Clear-LED-Light-Leds-Lamp-/221236211597

Thanks for the link! Ordered a set of 1000 :)

Cool!  The supplier is flexible and can declare it as a gift with a low value (I think US$1 I forgot) so you don't get hit hard at customs.

Time to count...
I'm interested in these two, where did you order? What resistors are for them?

I'll use these on the 60% PCB from sprit's GB.  From my understanding, the resisters are built into the PCB or something.  I also want to try these on my Shine II to see if they're brighter than the stock LEDs.

How are you testing them??

With a 1.5v battery.  Just testing that they light up and that they are indeed white. ;)

I'd probably use something like this.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'd probably use something like this.

personally I live on the edge and pull a cable out of my computer PSU with 5V on it and just test LEDs with that

especially with those cheap chinese LEDs, if a little overcurrent kills them, they probably weren't going to last long anyways :P

I've actually tried that with my TRiK PCB--it has a couple of non-LED holes that output 5V. The LED I inserted got so hot in such a short time, I nearly burned my fingers.  Not exaggerating.  I could feel the hot imprint on my thumb for a while.
