For a little context.. he reached out to me totally out of the blue about a Dolly V2 I had been after for a while (Plumsicle) and told me he would send it, free of charge. He mentioned there would be a little surprise...but I didn't think it would be three more Dollys and some Binge stickers!  Two of the caps are BS which are perfect since I am getting an IBM SSK very soon! You may have inadvertently started a new collection goal :3

I've always worn Jack Purcell leather Converses because they make for great casual biking shoes and got a thin enough sole to double as driving shoes. These are really cool looking too and right up my alley in terms of design. :)

They were really popular in Europe in the early 90's. They're a bit like a more rugged version of Converse but with a different history. They were originally designed for the French legion and after it got marginalized after the 90's the brand relaunched in 2009. Never thought much of it until a few years ago when I bought a pair on sale for cheap. They have been a favorite of mine since. :)

Check online, I'm sure they have them in Canada as well. Perhaps they even have a physical store in one of the major cities.
