I received a Das Ultimate(blank keys) with mx browns for 55$ on Amazon, seemed like too good of a deal to pass up.  I can replace the keycaps on that model right? I got it mostly because I wanted to try and improve my touch typing.

Yup, replacing the keys on it is very easy, even more so if you have a keycap puller.

where are they from, that is awesome

i modeled it up in 3ds max and had it 3d printed by shapeways.
this was just to test the dimensions using the cheapest material.
i have other designs im having printed now in the ultra detail material that should look alot better.

Got all this yesterday, but just finding time to post about it today.  It all includes:
  • black cherry replica tsangan kit
  • black cherry replica full mod kit
  • 8 pcb mount mx clear switches
  • some old cherry key caps
  • and last but not least my first clack
All of these items but the clack are for my future GH60 build.  Fingers crossed that GB starts moving again soon!

The clack is just because! ;)

Got my QFR w/ blues!





I got it second hand and planning on doing some custom work on it.:cool:

'got the WFD Universal Custom TKL Plate already and looking for some lube locally.  Still contemplating if I'll keep the blues or swap them out for something else...hmm.

First step for me right now is to explore my painting options.
