Some really cool 1.5u cast caps from bcredbottle.  Pretty impressive how far his skills have progressed in the time he's been at it.  :thumb:

BTW the purple in the rightmost cap is thermochromatic. IDK if body heat will activate it though.

put them on a switch!

Unfortunately there is just the slightest bit of overhang that catches on the surrounding caps/case.  :-[  Until I can find a setup that they play nice with, they will have to be desk art.  :-/  Sorry bcred!

Nooooo! I thought I tested for that! But I only tested it next to DSA caps, which I now realize was stupid.

Please feel free to send them back at my expense so I can fix them.  :-[ Nvmd just realized I was thinking of the cap's underside. Outsides can't be fixed except with a new design.

Those are cool! Its nice to see new artisan makers taking the modest route, instead of jumping right into sales and limited editions.

Not going to get here untill tomorrow, but i impulse bought a new 29" Ultrawide, just came out a couple weeks ago and its a refresh of another LG monitor, has Freesync from 40 to 75 Hz. No reviews anywhere yet aside from a reddit post, so ill see how that goes. its a  29UM68-P.  Hoping to pair it with a Logitech G27 for project cars and euro truck simulator.

Overall, no.

There are a few tiny imperfections on a few caps, and one that has several darker dots over it (I have no clue how that could have happened), but it's not very noticeable.

Tiny splotches:

Noooooo. I'll no longer be speshul. :(

Lol, he wrote "Electric Blue" on the bag, so I imagine that's what he'll start selling it as. Just ask for that and he should be able to get it for you.

Those splotches in particular looks like he shook off something that had excess paint, and it happened to land on that cap.

Electric Blue is what I commonly see it as, but oftentimes I find that there's some variation. Been trying to dig up a bunch of shades and tints to see if I can match the hex color.

Ill deffinitly leave my opinions on it either here or in the monitor thread, backlight bleed is something that i dont think i could put up with for long.

The Pro version of the SSD is far better than the EVO version, you may want to pay the few extra bucks for a far better and reliable disk.

Well i got the 850 evo for like $75, and i've been running a OCZ Vertex 2 for 4-5 years now, so for the price its a huge upgrade, its amazing my vertex 2 has survived this long, the controllers were really bad in them, and its just now letting go.  And from benchmarks the evo does about 550 in reads and 400 in writes. which is more than fine for me. Its a lot better than the 840 evo
