Agreed.  My friend bought one about 6 months ago for a build that I helped put together and the case is super clean, sturdy, and pretty reasonable price-wise.  I have a full tower myself but when I get a new case I will probably opt for something by Fractal.

Agreed.  My friend bought one about 6 months ago for a build that I helped put together and the case is super clean, sturdy, and pretty reasonable price-wise.  I have a full tower myself but when I get a new case I will probably opt for something by Fractal.

I am excited to get going on it.  Just need to pick up an atx to sfx adapter for my new psu, then I can get going.  I had the Node 202 and
it was really small and tight to work in.  I was going to stick with it but had a change of need for location and it no longer fit my desk.  This new one will be on the floor and allow me to keep using my liquid cooler and have some room to do some custom sleeving on the psu to really clean it up.  Oh, and a window so I can see it.   :thumb:

The price on Jet was too good to pass up:  $66 shipped.  Newegg was $83 after shipping and tax.

From my experience online and from what I've seen personally, the Fractal cases are pretty roomy and look really nice inside, especially if you sleeve the cables and make an effort to tidy up the interior.  They seemed to be the most favored case when I was trolling /r/BuildAPC and /r/BuildAPCSales prior to my build, with tons of people posting builds in I think the R4 or R5 and sales for them always sold out pretty quick.

For $66 though, you really cannot beat that.  Jet launched right around the time I was looking to build my PC and I'll be honest when I say that the site looked (and still does to an extent) sketchy as hell, but some of the deals people were and still are able to get are really good.

This will be my 4th build in a Fractal Case.  I have done the 3000, 1000, and Node 202.  The x000 series are their basic cases and for how cheap they were, are quite well built.  Style is definitely there if you are after a non-gam3r style case.

Now that you mention it, I think that a couple of the computers I have built here at work used the x000 cases.  I think they had a really good deal on them and when they arrived, I was really surprised at how well they were put together for the price ($20-30) that I got them for and like you say, they looked quite nice and non-gam3ry for office PCs.

For Jet, I think the non-return discount scares me the most.  I have returned very few items that I have bought online, but taking away that option kinda scares me so I probably wouldn't ever opt for it, especially for something like a GPU or PSU.

Got my 1st PBT cap set today!  :cool: They are just a double shot black/translucent legends set from WASD but I am loving them so far. I got them on my V60 with blues right now & they feel much better than the original ABS caps. Also got a red/black doubleshot PBT ESC key from WASD & the Bonk I won from u/jtm_sea over at r/mechanicalkeyboards showed up today along with a surprise blank!
