So I saw this from their website today:  http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.252678500/categoryId.35208800

I think they're trying to compete with R.A.T.5 with the whole customizable size thing.  Though I think if I do end up getting it I might just make it as small as possible.  There hasn't been any real good claw/fingertip mouse around.  I'm using CM Storm Xornet which is awesome but I just wish there were more choices.

Since this is wireless I guess it's probably consider as an upgrade from Razer Orochi.

Everything looks good except I don't think I can justify the $129.99 price.  That's just insane.  That and I'm not really big on green LED but I it's the direction Razer is going I guess.  I'm hoping the next product they release will be a new mouse to replace the role of Abyssus.

EDIT:  So it's available for purchase now  :)

As much as I'm lusting over this right now, I find it hard to believe there can be a better mouse than the Sensei.

Be aware that you'd be paying for 8200 dpi that you can't use, as well as for all the shiny buttons and other such stuff that makes the mouse "elite". But the shape and resizeability look cool. And I'd be expecting the mouse to be a palmer rather, especially with side supports for fingers that drag on the pad.

Yeah Sensei is too big for me, I find CM Storm Xornet/Spawn to be the perfect size so I use tiny mouse.  As for the dpi yeah I do agree I only use between 1300-1600 dpi or so.  So 8200 is huge waste on me lol.  However lately I'm very tempted to try out Logitech G9X

8200 dpi... I do not understand why anyone would want to use more than 3200dpi. Anything more is way too much and just a marketing gimmick.

I found it hard to spend $70 on my sensei raw and I love this thing to death. Not going to spend $130.00 on a mouse that looks like I NEED to read the manual to use. But I feel this is just Razer being Razer, all hype and price but no quality.

Yeah most likely won't get it, but I do admit it still looks kinda cool though lol.  If it was around $60 I think I'd get it :P

My next mouse will probably be a G9x (nice claw, but laser), g400 (closest to what i already use), xornet (great cheap claw) or sensei raw (very nice laser without the bling) or xai (smaller so i can claw comfortably).

Then again my MX518 may never die, or at least out live me. So I may never have to make the choice. :-)

I do not like hyper expensive mice with blingy lights and crap like that.

Sensei is perfect for me. I have huge hands, and it fits just perfectly. G400 or IE3.0 would be number 2.

They also just put out the Taipan. Corded, dual sensor, ambidextrous. It competes directly ageist the sensei raw.

Looks like razer's answer to the RAT mice. I'll admit razer does make some good looking products but that's ruined by the fact that most, if not all, are well overpriced especially considering the quality is not there like with most of the competition.

I don't know maybe I got lucky but I haven't had any issue with my Naga so far, and I've been using it since December last year (9 months now?).  For me it's just cuz there isn't too many options out there for claw grip, so this actually look like a good option if the price wasn't so high

i'm a person who uses light weight mice. Not keen for that mouse. G9X without grip and weights, or Zowie MiCO are perfect for me. Probably it's becuz i play Starcraft 2.

Aye, for fingertip grip in particular, lightness is vital. Between this thing at 135g, and my Team Scorpion Zealot at 63g, I know which one I'd pick for fingertip use.

And that's not taking into account the fact that the last Razer mouse I had came with plenty of quality issues...

Have to ask the Xornet users, why did you choose it over the Spawn?

Xornet over Spawn:

- Plug and play, I don't like installing a bunch of drivers for all the different mouse I have
- I like black over red
- Was on sale for $20 figure I'd give it a try
- I use 1300-1600 DPI, so Xornet's 2000 DPI is enough for me, though I guess Spawn has a 1600 DPI step that would've been good for me too
- I heard rumours that Xornet work better on white surface Spawn work better on black surface, and I own an Artisan Shiden (White)

Now if Xornet has a Razer / Mionix style blue LED scroll wheel and take away the branding (take away the giant XORNET lettering on the body and maybe just keep the CM Storm logo and take away the letters) then it would've been perfect for me :P

So it's finally out from Razer Store, anyone got their hands on it yet?

I just don't understand why didn't they throw a multi-color LED on it like their flagship Mamba and Naga Epic.

Not big on green but if they had a multi-color LED then I probably would've bought it.  All my computer tower / speaker / mice right now are black + blue LED, except keyboard is beige + red LED.  So pretty sure if I throw a mouse with green LED it definitely would look weird  :(

Yeah, I would really like multi-colour if I ever bought one, but atm it's just too expensive for what it is to be worth it. I do want it in my collection sooner or later though.

Yeah because ideally I want a laser claw grip mouse with blue led (or multi-color works too).  So there really isn't too many options out there.  Right now there's the G9X but I kind of don't like logitech scroll wheels because I use middle click a lot.  Now my only other option is this.  Maybe I should be patient and see if anything else pop up later or I just might have to settle for optical claw mouse  :(

I mean I don't have any huge grips with optical but I find it feels the best when you can adjust the DPI to exactly how fast you want it while leaving windows speed at 6/11.

If this doesn't works out maybe I'll wait for Spawn or Abyssus version 2 or something.
