That's a nice thread.

What would be nice now is to give out what image file/format they expect and/or accept.

How much did you need to pay for one? :o

Also, could you post the cad files you used please?

The transparent one is in "Frosted ultra detail" and it cost 7.72$ but the result is quite good. The white one is in "White strong flexible polished" and cost 2.87$ but the top is not very good, maybe with a bit of sanding it could be better.

You can buy one or download the model here:http://www.shapeways.com/model/637295/keycap.html

sure, if someone wants to migrate the information over there, i can change the OP to a link or embed the wiki page in the post (ok i don't know if the latter's really possible, but it should be!!)

I haven't called them or reached out, since so far I have been able to get all the keys I need from Unicomp // but Fenteks site seems to indicate they manufacture BS keys.

Cherry doubleshots http://www.gmk-electronic-design.de/ Take a look at the MX cylindrical on the examples... 100% Cherry

Also another source for dyesub came up http://www.bspeurope.com/top.html

Both of these were given to me by Cherry employee after inquiring about keycaps.

Denmark and Germany...

And they come to a point at the bottom rather than being rounded all the way!

Hmmm, wondering if this could be the way forward for Sam/Matt's Elven set...

GMK minimum used to be 400, but it seems that they've lowered it to 250 on doubleshot keys. I believe blanks are still at 400.

I want to say that BSP is 400 too, but I don't remember where I read that.
