Yeah, that looks really great with backlight!  Just keep an eye out though.  ekw posted earlier that some Clacks like HC White are susceptible to discoloration from light, even LEDs.

Probably not, since the 'plus' of the MX stem is too big to fit inside the circular area of Topre caps.  And especially for Clacks and BroBots, which have a horizontal support that runs through the diameter of the circle area.

The right one is Gummyrot, and the left one is a trans emerald green.  "Ice ice baby" is the name I was told, but it might not be the official name. 

And yep, the colors are a bit saturated.  My camera is an old, ailing point and shoot, and it especially doesn't do well with the brighter lighting.  Colors come out much better with the setup I use for my close up shots, but my light sources (ipads + iphone, haha) are small and so I can't do entire keyboard shots.

I think I posted this earlier.  Gummyrots on left and right, and trans emerald in the middle.  I love comparison shots, btw.

Thanks for the comparison. It almost looks like the Topre Gummyrots are more translucent, it looks more so than my MX.

My MX and Topre appear to be the same shade and translucence.  However, the Topre cap is more hollowed out underneath than the MX one, so that's what you might be noticing.  For Topre, the hollowed out section rises about halfway from the base of the cap, whereas for MX, the hollowed out area only comes up to the lower third of the cap's height.


Got a new pink skull today.  It is a slightly darker/deeper pink than my Octopink.  However, I'm guessing it is still Octopink and not something else like Tickle Me Pink?

I found Bro's earlier pic of Octopink vs Tickle Me Pink.  The difference seems to be a little more apparent in his pic, but I'm not sure.

This other pink I have is just a shade deeper.  They're very close, but there's enough difference that I can recognize each one after mixing them up.

Haha, lickkit pink.  Going through CC's color list, there are some interesting color names.  Rotten pink and green.  Unnecessary white and Necessary white, hehe.
