Your camera is really good. Is there a slight chip on the left cheek?
That slight "chip" is actually normal

My latest addition in slightly better light.  I found that putting it on a darker background made the skull part seem whiter.

MX Oktoberfest was a gift, I do not wish to trade it.  Besides, I have more MX keyboards than Topre, and it goes very well with the Ducky Yellow Edition :)

Congrats! I love how the yellow bleeds through the white of the skull ever so slightly at the very top! The Oktoberfest/Drunken keys are my absolute favorite clacks and the only ones I would consider paying above retail for.

Mad as ****
I used to think that the O'natural caps were more appealing than Toast and tho they do look more "natural", after owning caps in both designs I can say with confidence that I like toast much better. It offers better contrast for multi colored clacks and I find their almost cartoonish look just downright charming!

I've seen it called Bloodorange before (I think before he decided to call it Hack Orange). But have you ever seen a blood orange? They are reddish.

When I had one it was pretty clearly orange.  It likely looks red in the photo for two reasons.  First, digital cameras have a very difficult time correctly capturing the color orange, often shifting it to the red and blowing out the contrast.  Second, the white balance could be off, making it look even more red.

Yea they are pretty orange in person. I've had a few hack orange caps. But they aren't the orange you think of when you hear "orange". I think blood orange is a pretty accurate name for this orange........orange. O-Range. The word has lost it's meaning now. Orange.

HO is a very difficult colour to photograph at the best of times.  I remember when HO Clacks first appeared they looked different in every picture!

Fantastic!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
