Very nice - congratulations :)

It's my favourite Clack, can you tell? :p

Topre Mint Gum Clack. Though it looks like it has a small imperfection above the right eye. I tried wiping it with a wet paper towel and it wouldn't come off so I'm thinking its actually stained down into the plastic. Has anyone else encountered a CC with a slight blemish like this? This is the first one I've ever gotten that hasn't come from the man himself and I might just be obsessing over little details but I would be curious if others have gotten a key with a mark like this from CC or if this might be something caused by a prior owner.

mint gum MX is a REALLY old color.  I'm assuming the topre ones are similiarly old.

they're been traded tons of times by now; wear and tear is just name of the game.

personally, i've never seen something like THAT, but i wouldn't worry about it personally.

It's not really old :)) just kinda old, but like tbc said I never encountered any defect like that because CC is very stringent about what he sells in his sales. I would guess it something that happened after it's initial sale, but I would't worry about it. Think of it as a beauty mark ;)

Fortunately its small enough that it's easy to overlook. I really love the color, it's exactly what I hoped it would be! Thanks for the advice guys :)

I find it interesting how the Topre clacks are more textured in some places than the MX clacks. I was comparing them side by side and it was pretty noticeable under the right light.

My Yolk Yellow skull has some blemishes as well on the face and the previous seller attributed it to being old. So, I guess it might happen. I am not sure.

My EK Blue has 3 spots on the forehead area. It is an old one so I've been told it was something with the molds back then.

Still hurts that those didn't come in MX. Wanted to use the Trophy Silver so bad!
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Thanks! :)  The Trophy Silver is a lighter silver, smoother and shinier than the Terminator skull.  Here's an old pic I posted earlier on.

Great lightening! Could be for an advertisement. I spot 2 light sources for sure.

I made again another shot of the Night Owl MKII, since i had the time to ... take the 457th shot of this lovely cap. Now i like the eyes more than in the other pictures i made.

And here a Revenge Red Clack. Sorry for being always on the same keyboard, but i have no other MX board here.

Thanks!  Haha there are two light sources because I don't have a large enough, non-ugly light that will cover a board.  Left side light source is an iPad, and on the other side is a laptop screen.

Lovely pics as always, man!  You really captured the colors really well for both CCs.  Good job with the eyes for the MKII, too. :)

If it weren't for gmk hyperfuse and toxic, I wouldn't own an MX board at all lol. My alps and hhkb are my true loves.

^ Such workmanship on that

He must be working those gnomes really, really hard!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
