Whats up with EK going down everytime they make a change to the site?

It's like the old BBS days where the SysOp took down the entire system to make a simple change!

Ah the glory days of WWIV.

Not a OCN poster but a lurker...

The OCN boys now have me spooked about squeeky Leopold keys...

They have minimal squeaking and a couple dabs of lithium grease fixes it right up. Don't listen to the haters (and I sold my Leo :P).

I asked Bambi from Leopold about directly purchasing a tenkeyless, she said they're out of stock until July.

She handles Leopold support: http://leopold.co.jp/en/support/.  You can contact her via email (or probably phone, if you really want to call Japan).

Can the grease be added just by taking the key caps off?

Yes.

I just tried EK website and it's still down.  Also, he can keep it down for a week if it'll be up to date!  Oh, and especially if it has MORE inventory added, like full sized Leos and the keycaps he's promised.  Oh, and did I mention that new uniform weighted Realforce in "WHITE"?
In order of purchase:

A space saving realforce in white with uniform 45g switched would be quite nice.  I would be tempted, except it's a rubber dome.

By the way, anyone else try and love the lifetime keytronic series?  IMHO they are pretty darn nice, almost comparable to topres in my opinion.

Looks like there are some new Clack Factory Blue Skull Keycap (Topre) available. I've ordered one of those and a HHKB (dark gray printed) to use with it!

I know this is offtopic, but I'm not sure where to ask. I know that when the Leopold "Otaku" was released, there were some queries about the Windows keys. I have a feeling somebody said they're not bubbled, but I'm not really sure. So: Are the Leopold blank Windows keys bubbled or not?!

They're bubbled, but if you want to be 100% sure, just email EK support.

I know that the site pictures show them as being bubbled, but I could have sworn I saw somebody post pictures of them without bubbles?!
I shall email EK support and try to remember to post here with the findings.

EDIT: They have bubbles! :(

I will buy a leopold soon, as the school finishes. I'd buy a filco but I'm Canadian, don't know where I could buy one.
I am worried about stabilizers being mushy, that's the main reason why I'd prefer to have a filco. I don't like in-key LEDs and round corners too, but I don't care too much about that.

I don't quite know how I will pay the keyboard, my daddy ain't going to borrow me his bank account (it's probably empty anyway).
I'm eager to be 18, I will have my own credit card and won't have to worry about such things.

The keys on the leopold are PBT, right*? Blue wasd keys are ABS*? Red GH key is ABS*?
I don't want to mix different kinds of plastic, it would probably feel weird.
