Is this a mechanical keyboard? (NMB RT6656TWSF)
« on: Sun, 05 August 2012, 15:29:46 »
Hi guys, I recently found this keyboard and I cant quite tell if its mechanical or not, since im very new to this business (I've only tried a friends Steelseries 6Gv2)... And also, I cant find anything about it online, so im wondering if anyone has any interesting facts about this keyboard. Thanks.

- Audio of me doing a typeracer race. The sound setup isnt that good, its just my regular mic on a screw driver above the keyboard.

Sounds and looks like rubber domes to me. But I'm an amateur compared to most people here.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that it is a rubber dome with separate plungers for each switch.
The plunger would have four legs for a more distinct landing.

It is a very good rubber dome board as well as Topre is.
NMB rubber dome had many of big fans in Japan some time ago.

Alright thanks for your help guys. I think it feels more like a rubber dome keyboard than a mechanical one (comparing to my friends 6Gv2), so I'll settle at that it is a rubber dome one.
Im gonna continue looking for a clicky keyboard, I havent decided between Model M and Filco Majestouch 2...
