Perhaps you are not using it for cool enough tasks.

It's so WOOOORDY.

Not to mention it's default string comparison behavior is orders of magnitude slower than C#'s

i'm a failure at programming (i just can't understand language, basic/pascal/fortran/c/java, wth was i taking in hs/college lol) and i''ve seen that vid/ meme around but isn't vb used to create simple gui interfaces? or someone can just please explain to me why the video is so much lol, but... i really don't remember programming in basic 20 years ago , ha at most
10 print  "hello"
20 goto 10

yup that's all i remember even tho i did program an othello senior project somehow.

Because when you need to accomplish something, for instance... geo-locating an IP.  You just use command line on some unix flavor.  It's way the hell faster and there's nothing about the process that would be improved by a GUI.

The lol aspect is that they just threw together jargon more or less randomly.  Real-tIme, GUI, Visual Basic, IP address.  CSI is famous for this.

edit: Also what alaric said

Perl for me. It just does not computer. Yet, I have no problem with ruby which actually took a lot of ideas from perl. They just made it easier to understand and use to the point of where I can just pick it up and do things where with perl I'm generally scratching my head mouthing "what the ****?" :D

Never used VB. God damnit I hate VHDL so much.

Glad I got that out too.

I hated VHDL, when an opportunity came up to try SystemC instead, I jumped on it.
SystemC messed with my head so much, it's like... this part is normal C... except this part, thats systemC.... but that works the same way.... unless I'm doing this.... except if I declared it like this earlier on....
But GDB on hardware simulation is pretty nice.
