Thank you guys. I may just try to get used to using them and use left shift primarily instead.

Took me about two days to overcome hitting right shift.

It's killing me when trying to use the question mark. I am a terrible typist.

I never used right shift anyway, so it was no big deal for me.

Yeah, so far it's been the ? that has been the problem for me. Before I asked, I was using the WASD arrows. But using two hands just isn't as efficient.

This set is growing on me more and more, but I think I'll be happy enough with the Rain set to withstand the onslaught.

If I'd been able to get these before Rain, I would agree.  Now, I don't want to because I don't want to have to find someone to take my rain order/cancel it then cross my fingers, spit three times into a southwesterly direction and do four roundhouse kicks while pressing f5 to get an order through sherry's website.

Workin' on it.  I wish that aluminum space bar from feng worked on a keyboard.  It doesn't fit right and I hit the spacebar with my right thumb and always nearly flip the thing off my board.

I call this "See, I have a lot of NIQMOD caps, too"

After I decided to sell my KBC Poker, I just wanted to show it before it's gone.

The only initial 'ingredient' left is the original PCB.
  • KBC Poker PCB
  • Stickered MX ErgoClear Switches, Clear for Space
  • Stainless steel plate which allows to open switches
  • Costar stabs
  • CNC aluminium case anodised in gunmetal
  • black engraved PBT Poker keycaps
  • Weight: ca. 1kg

I'm German and the German language contains Umlauts and the ß (it's like a s).
As I am an US-ANSI user only, I manage to get my Umlauts and ß with the US-Intl. layout via right Alt (AltGr) + q, p, y, and s.
Unfortunately, the Poker doesn't have a right Alt, nor can I dipswitch it. And pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Q for a capital Ä is just too much a pain in the ass.
Otherwise, lovely thing, feels even better than my Filco.

If I were you I would not get rid of the whole thing, but maybe just the Poker PCB and replace it with GH60 PCB to solve your problems with the layout.
In the short term if you wanted to continue use it, there is another solution which I did since it is not possible to enter alt codes on Poker and lack of alt gr makes US Intl somewhat hard to use as you know. I made my own keymap with frequent use alternate charachter. So I just press alt+shift to change keymap, type my charachter with a single keypress and alt+shift back to normal US keymap. It's perhaps not the most perfect solution but it worked well for me.

Thanks very much!  The tight fit is awesome but unfortunately it does mean that any wires under the pcb will get crushed...

I would do it lazy way and put some washer to raise the pcb .5-1mm as needed for wire clearance.

I thought about it, but the plate is already flush with the top edges of the case as seen here - http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=35152.msg822299#msg822299

Has anyone tried to plasti-dip their case before? And how was the outcome? I bought a couple cans, but haven't done it yet. Waiting for the temperature outside to be warmer..

Cherry Thick PBT. The same as the WASD/Arrow clusters Feng has listed on Ebay only 37 instead of 4.
I don't know how long all of them are going to stay on, being that I have Thick Blue PBT (w/ Cherry Legend in Black & Hangul Legends in Red) on the way.
Maybe I'll leave them on the keys without Hangul [ ] l ; ' , . / :)

Red Thick PBT (Left) Cherry Double Shot (Right)
