« on: Tue, 04 September 2012, 16:13:23 »
Can anyone recommend a 2-4 port USB hub that's inexpensive/reliable?

anyone have personal experience with: http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-USB-2-0-4-Port-White/dp/B000NB05MO/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1346792947&sr=8-10&keywords=usb+hub+2+port+belkin

What are you needing it for? Most el-cheapo hubs will work fine if only using keyboards/mice/webcams/usb 2.0 flash sticks. If you're using it to charge a lot of things, or using high powered devices, you may want to spring for a unit that uses a mains power adapter.

That belkin is actually pretty nice i have one but it doesnt have much weight to it so if it near the edge of the table the cables can pull it off.

I always just use the Monoprice ones. Cheap, effective, and dispensable if they break, which I haven't had happen.

Hm, it's a fair offer, but I will have to take a day to think about it?
