I don't understand what you're talking about when you say-

Quote
Oni's case (I believe this goes for One as well) is an entirely new mold. There are still alignment problems. So the left side is not too close to the left most keycaps, but right most keycaps is too close to the right side on the main typing cluster.

Are you saying there is a greater gap between the edge of the cap and the case on the right hand side of the keys than the gap on the left side of the keys next to the case?

If this is what you're saying, mine has pretty exact alignment...

I'm going to get all objective on this, grabbing my calipers tonight.

No. Left gap is bigger than right gap. You don't have a Filco, I think that's why you're confused. Filco's case is too close on the left and that is a common complaint.

Oh I see what you're saying, I thought you were saying this issue existed with the KBT.

Sorry for the confusion.

Read more closely. Filco = too close on the left. Oni = too close on the right.

That is what I thought you were saying.

I'm saying my Oni has no gap issues, and haven't seen any other complaints of gap issues with Oni.

It is what it is. I am not complaining about it. If you don't think it is closer, just stick your keycap puller on it and you'll see (preferably one of those with a circle and 2 prongs coming out of it). It'll going in nice and easy on the left side and you need to fish it in there on the right. Look at your inverted T while you're at it. A lot of people never knew about the alignment issue on their Filco until their new signature plastic caps rubs on the case. Like I said, it is what it is.

Can one of you guys that own the keyboard measure the distance (from center to center, in millimeters) between the two screws that hold the plate/PCB down to the case? It requires taking off the top case though. Please and thank you!

I'm considering buying one of these. So the overall consensus seems to be that they are pretty good for the price?

Not an expert, but quality seems good to me.

Maybe someone has already taken it apart and tell if there are any screws under the rubber feet or should I just pry it open?

Doesn't looks like there are screw holes on the top of the plate, so there probably isn't screws holding the case top on. It should just be clips in the front and back.

108 key is called One. Oni is the 87k version.
The Oni I have has an Aluminum plate on the back, says "One"-

Here are some more pictures-

Each of the keys does have a pretty aggressive stem on the back, I'm probably going to use a hobby knife and cut it off-

I will be modding it this weekend for detachable cable.

Apologies for resurrecting but this thread has photos of the ONI space bar vs Leopoldo. Fc220. But it doesn't look like they are the same length or probably it's the angle of the camera. Does this also looked standard 6.25 space bar to you?

Thanks weenis, didn't realize you are still here. Have you replace the Poker ONI with SP key caps? I'm planning to buy it to fit the Round 4 and Round 5 SP spherical caps but I worry the ONI is not standard especially the space bar. I don't want to buy a board that I can't install the caps.
