Hadn't seen it before, but from the photos I found, it looks great. Typical 87 key layout is nice, but i'd be hesitant to get one given the reports on the Race/Pure quality.

http://www.pcwaishe.cn/thread-410577-1-1.html

Edit:
From what I can tell, it's plate mounted in red or black switches with blue back lighting. Most of the reviews compare it to a Filco, but say it's not the same level of craftsmanship. One review (according to Google Translate) said the bottom case feels delicate compared to a Filco. Over all it looks like a nice backlit tkl; the lighting isn't garish and there shouldn't be an issue with odd sized key caps.

OH! One of the reviews I read, maybe even the one I linked, mentioned (what I gathered from the translation) that the model he received was not the final production model. That and the fact that I haven't found a ton of forum posts on 'em leads me to think that they're not out yet OP. I think you'll have to wait a bit longer to figure out where to get one, but Taobao would be my best guess for when they're released.

Edit:
Only photos I've found of the 104. Black switches except for the keypad which uses blues. Interesting.

I've been on qtan's Vendio a number of times in the past two weeks or so and haven't seen it, but that doesn't really mean anything. You might send him an email or message and see if he has any opinions on it.

It took Vortex long enough to get it out I just assumed it was more Vaportex. Quite surprised. Too bad it didn't have the black on charcoal dyesub Cherry profile caps they mentioned earlier on (unless I am mis-remembering).

Once again, the spruce marks on the back of the caps.

You can see them better on the larger photo on Qtang's site

I didn't wait for all the pics to load first look, that site is always very slow for me. But it looks like they just put some imsto caps on it, not that they come with it. I would try to find the old posts here from Vortex about it, but I will just guess all the pictures would be missing so there is probably little point. But I recall them showing some caps that were more like the black on near black topre ones.

This board is so definitely costar. The bezel looks identical in shape. Though I do not like the stabilizers, other than that, this keyboard totally rocks for $104

wait nevermind, that's the nonbacklite version. Screw that, Coolermaster all the way..

Are you going to get any for sale? Any idea what they'll cost?

I have the KBT Pure with PBT caps and they feel real nice, but now that I've had it for a couple months I think the text of the characters is already rubbing off. It isn't even my every day driver, I use it for a couple hours a day at work with very sparse typing...

Well, vortex dye sub caps, custom oem profile will cost around 60 dollar in retail i believes.

Too much caps in the market. I don't think black on black dye sub will stand out much.

One review (according to Google Translate) said the bottom case feels delicate compared to a Filco.

The reviews I've seen seem very positive at about the build quality.

From my limited understanding of Chinese I think "precise" is a better translation in this context rather than "delicate", as delicate has connotations of fragility in English. Either way I've got one in the post from qtan so I'll let you know.

Can you find where it says delicate, my translated page doesn't have delicate.

OK I see it, yea, they used the CHINESE term "Xi-Ni" [细腻] which means "fine-crafted" or "precise-workmanship" or literally "exquisitely-intimate"

So they're saying the Bottom piece is BETTER than the Filco, NOT worse.

The Oni I have has an Aluminum plate on the back, says "One"-

Here are some more pictures-

Each of the keys does have a pretty aggressive stem on the back, I'm probably going to use a hobby knife and cut it off-

I will be modding it this weekend for detachable cable.

Keys feel good, I would say they feel slightly stiff, but they're totally new.

The plate feels/sounds thick. When I bottom out it's a pretty low pitched "tunk" sound verse, plastic hitting a thin plate. Might be in my head... but whatever.

Space bar feels great.

I really really really like the keys. They feel really nice, but I am worried about the lettering, both based on earlier feedback in the thread, and also some scratching I did on some letters. It does appear that over time the lettering will wear out, how much time, I'm unsure.

According to google translate, it's to raise awareness of the other one. Like if they get the oni, they look up the "one" online and see that there's another one.

It also seems that once they come out with a backlit version, they'll switch back.

It also says the dark grey PBT colour was picked over black. I say that I certainly approve!

So ya. I got mine. I like it so far. The stabilizer in the space bar feels nice... for a plate mounted Cherry stabilizer. Backspace is a little mushy along with Lshift. The board sits at a different angle (steeper) than Filcos, and slightly wider. I wish it had 2m cord, since it feels kinda short. Ah well. One thing I do like is the shallow well the keys sit in, since it'll probably easier to clean. I'll use it for a few more days for the new toy syndrome to wear off then I'll write more about it.

....... I may rape the board of its keycaps and put it on the Filco that's permanently attached to the desk ;o~ I may or may not have bought an extra one for that exact purpose ;)

Edit, I just noticed there is no scroll lock indicator... not that it matters.

I'm typing this on the TKL version. It says "One" on the back of the keyboard on the aluminum plate, but "Oni" on the packaging IIRC. If I weren't so lazy, I would post pictures, sorry.

The reason for switching the aluminum plate is because KBTalking is disadvantaged when it comes to distribution channels, so they did it to raise the awareness of the other keyboard. When one sees the keyboard name on the simple box, and then see the aluminum plate, they might be confused and think that they bought the wrong product. So they might return to the vendor and ask or search online and realize there's another keyboard.

Bizarre and counterproductive, if you ask me.  It would only make me think that those people can't get their **** straight.

I have to agree, because there are playlist control media buttons on the keyboard, but no volume control media buttons, which I find kind of weird.

Because.... the volume buttons are 3 of 4 extra keys on the 108k version.

Yes only one LED (at least on TKL version). Not of much use - CapsLock key is not transparent.

As a testament to me changing my mind faster than I change lanes, PBT are back on after only a day. Mainly because it really is too plain with blank caps on. I like my boring black boards, but that even surpassed my limit. My Ninja at least has a subtle badge and 2 holes for the LED. This just have nothing. Other is that I can only take blues in moderation. ABS + blues = annoyance. Feel be damned. Apparently, I am the only one on this forum that prefer ABS to PBT.

I probably wouldn't write a full review on the board, unless someone really bother me enough to write one. It's a quality board at ~100 bucks. Probably not as good of a deal as a QFR when it's on sale. VS the QFR (I think they went overboard with delabeling on the new one), the choice ends up between whether you want PBT, removable cable, or stabilizer preference. They're both decent boards. I like the fixed cable on the Oni, but would have preferred Costar style stabilizers. That's why I prefer Filcos ;) This may be all in my mind, but tapping on the case, Filco sounds like it has a more solid case. However, Oni's case (along with the case of QFR) doesn't have the bow in it in front of the spacebar. Oni's case (I believe this goes for One as well) is an entirely new mold. There are still alignment problems. So the left side is not too close to the left most keycaps, but right most keycaps is too close to the right side on the main typing cluster. Nit picking is my specialty, so don't take this as a real complaint. The only real complaint is that the slightly raised angle of the entire board. I wish they didn't mess with that. Duckies has a similar style raised keycaps look case, but didn't mess with the angle. Tsk tsk tsk. Gimme negative angle board please.

(at the time of this writing, I have a Ninja, Oni, QFR and YotD on the desk. Yes I do feel silly).

TL;DR: I like cookies.
