If you have no set value in mind and just say "make me a *money* offer", then just make it a public auction. This makes it harder for any shadiness that is associated with the sale of any CC.

Also I don't think that is an unreasonable offer, it was originally $18 I believe. In my opinion anything over double the original cost is unreasonable.

What shadiness? I've only ever had positive interactions buying and selling stuff on here, geekhackers strike me as honest and pleasant folk...


However, i do think we should get in the habit that beer people have of sending extra stuff with whatever we sell or trade as part of the tradition...in fact I'll start it now, buy this cc and you can expect another random cherry MX novelty key in the box with it...just feel inclined to pay it forward the next time you sell something.

I think if the second a CC arrives at your door step it is worth 3-6 times what you paid for it something is wrong. It should either cost more to buy them initially or more of them should be produced if the maker doesn't want them sold/traded for higher amounts AND the community quasi frowns upon it. I guess if someone offered me $20 for a $5 bill in my wallet I'd have a hard time telling them no though...
