Not a bad deal, for $22 shipped.  The keycaps in the picture look shiny though.  You might get lucky.

yeah I just looked at the pic and the example board appears to be very shiny.  There may be some good ones though, can't hurt to message the seller if you're in the market for a set!

Do MY keycaps fit on MX switches?

It looks like the keycaps on MY switches are the same as ones on MX, is it just the switch that's different?

Yes, the caps fit sliders of both MY and MX. they are compatible  :cool:

interesting thing for them to be selling considering where they are located is pretty far away from minneapolis/st. paul.

If these aren't just the same ones as oceantech, then maybe they are in better shape too. that picture just looks a bit strange to me.

This place is probably 20-30minutes away from me, so I could maybe stop over there sometime...

Someone needs to design an easy method for restoring texture to double shots. Sandblasting is not easy, and could potentially scratch the sides of the keys a lot unless you mask them off, but masking four sides of 87+ keys is a lot of work.

Those flexible nail files from drug stores work pretty good at removing the shine, but it does come back after a month or two.

Also, how are the heights of the keys on these boards?  Mainly, the pgup/dn and arrow keys...

The profiles correspond to the row they are in on the keyboard.  They will feel odd on a keyboard layout other than the G80/1-1800.
