I'm getting some in black, blue, green, white, and red.  I tried to get brown, but it wasn't available.  I know black is a dumb sticker color, but perhaps a few people would purchase it...

I tried to get them in switch colors.

Black has a market. Some people will want a discrete looking sticker after the mod. Same reason why some people don't want LED backlit. Curious when sherryton will get more too.

Me? Since the OP said he was looking for "Korean" stickers, I thought he was referring to those stickers you put on your keyboard for foreign languages.

Why is an administrator trying to call out somebody to be a troll in front of everybody?

You've been here since Apr `09 and you don't assume that the request might be related to keyboards?

Here's the stuff he's referring to.

Also, if I was serious about it I'd have just PM'd you.  Your response was silly... guess you don't think mine was.

Are the stickers able to be easily removed? I'd be very interested in getting one in blue. Maybe more if the price is right.

But if for some reason you do want to take them off it would be quite simple.  At least the sticker part, getting to the sticker may not be so easy.

I am not convinced stickers help anything at all, but that is another story.

Can someone explain to me why you have to import stickers from Korea???  Why not just use something from staples/office depot/target/whatever?  They have all sorts of label stickers, masking tape, etc, that would do the exact same thing.  You'd just have to cut it.

I'm not convinced they really do anything either but if you have the switch apart anyways you might as well put a sticker on. I don't think cutting them yourself would be very fun at all

The stickers help with housing wobble if they are PCB mount, plate does the same job otherwise.

The claim about keeping dust out and lube in is... specious at best.  There are plenty more paths for lube to evaporate through and dust will always find a way too.

I really thought it helped with stability on platemounted switches too. It makes sense if it does.
If not, still cool to have a board with stickerz.

Technically it helps... but it's the difference between being able to move the switch by pushing hard on the housing intentionally (w/o stickers) vs. beating on it (w/ stickers).  Typing like a normal person you won't be able to notice it.

How thick are the stickers ? Are they just normal stickers? or do they have some rubber on them or do they have some felt material?

They're PVC or similar... so they have some thickness to them and give a little when squished.

They're actually pretty thin. Seems like mine are thinner than standard printing paper. If you push around the top housing with the stickers, it still ever so slightly moves. Maybe we should try getting some that are a tad thicker?

I'm not sure thicker is a good idea because if you look closely at a stickered switch you'll see that the top half of the switch is slightly bowed.  This likely increases the stem's travel before actuation and thicker stickers would further accentuate that.  It would definitely be worth trying though!

IMO, not worth the time for the difference they make. Lube, O-rings, or changing springs/stems makes a drastic difference in the feel of the keyboard, but sticker or no sticker, you won't be able to tell the difference if you didn't pay close attention to the feel.

Are they like Keycaps? or do you think it is more or less than caps and by how much?
