Things I hate: When you are trying to contribute something to a conversation and someone cuts you off like you are not even there.
I think my problem is that I am not nearly loud enough, so you do not hear me over the attention-seekers and alpha male wannabes. Sometimes group conversations are almost like shouting matches. No one even appreciates the content of what the other person is saying. It becomes about something else. That is when I decide stay out of the conversation. After the shouting match is done sometimes people ask me why I'm quiet. I was not quiet, you were entirely too loud.
My family does this to me all the time.
What's worse is that whenever I raise my voice above the din, they have the testicular fortitude to say "You know it's rude to interrupt people."
Another thing that I despise:
Ask-holes.
These are people who come to you, beseeching your advice. You talk to them for a while, convincing them to not do something completely mind-bogglingly window-licking stupid... and they turn around and do it anyway.
Why ask for advice if you aren't going to listen?
