Am looking for a Topre CC, so if I win any MX CCs I'd be willing to do a equal trade for a Topre variant from another winner.

You do if you registered for it.

Do you though, how exactally would they enforce that? ...the draw date was never set in stone and we have heard literally nothing since...

I'm not complaining, but it would seem kind of brutal to penalise people who couldn't/didn't pay (for what ever reason) then ever they finally annouce the winners...

Yes, you do.  It was one of the conditions for entering the draw:

"2. Payment is required if you win. Winners will receive an invoice for the advertised price (plus First Class shipping) by email and will have 30 days to pay for their item."
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

And if you don't pay in 30 days?

I think this was meant more as a way to let people know that if you win the drawing the items aren't free.

Yeah, as mentioned before I don't think they have any way of enforcing it since no payment details were provided in the entries.

And even if entering the draw was a legally binding agreement, which I highly doubt (especially outside of the US), pursuing the money would cost a lot more than what a clack is worth. If you entered and can't afford to pay if you win, I certainly wouldn't worry. I am sure they would just draw again.

I would think that at the very least it means you forfeit all the clacks you won, if there were multiple. And hopefully get blacklisted from future drawings, should they occur.

That is true.  I bought this one from EK when there was no limit on how many you can buy and they had plenty of them back then.

A tri-color skull

You could buy 10 if you had the money. lol  I bought only 2 since I only needed one of each.  ;)

Takes the idea of a Clack Factory skull keycap to a whole new level.

The only reasonable explanation would be that the entire EK building along with every employee completely and spontaneously disappeared.  Perhaps Aliens..

let's start an IC IMO, not sure if we'll meet MOQ

jk

I think what is really happening is EK has had a set date at which the auction will 'end' all along and they are simply tracking to this date.  Since we are out of the loop we are left here to speculate and come up with wild theories.
