What do you do with a keyboard when you are bored?
« on: Wed, 21 November 2012, 11:32:20 »
I'm just sooooo bored, but still want to do something with my keyboard.
I played at 10FF about 10 mins, typing on my IBM model m, and it turned out that my finger got tired  :-X
So, now I'm seeking other thing to do, heh.

Now what can I do with it, and what do you guys do?

Turn it around so it is facing away from you and try to type.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

huh? When I am bored, I don't ask myself what to do "with my keyboard." It's more like, what to do "with my computer." i.e. browse the web, play games, chats, etc.

My favorite use of a keyboard when I'm bored is a good game of The Binding of Issac.  Otherwise I'm cleaning it.
60% keyboards, 100% of the time.
