Dat screen. If they made a Nexus like that, I would buy it so fast.

edit: the verizon iphone 5's all come factory unlocked. However, if you put an att or tmobile sim in, you won't get LTE, only hspa

If it weren't for the fact that I'm about 98% certain my next phone will be a 7" tablet with google voice or skype for calling and a texting app based on a cell (probably verizon) broadband plan, I'd be interested.  Other than that, you won't be sorry getting the Note 2.

My gf just got the galaxy s3 and man she keeps yelling at me for touching it :( I could only imagine how cool a slightly larger note would be.

I have the S3. I don't think I would want it to be any bigger :P

YES! They NEED a Nexus phablet. And not some dumb looking square thing either (LG Intuition).

Note 2 looks nice. Not sure about it's camera but the GS3 has a pretty nice camera for a phone. I'm pretty sure its comparable with the iphone in terms of quality.

I'm getting a Verizon Note 2 as soon as they hit retail in my backwoods town!  The HTC DNA looks like a decent, more conventional alternative but the significantly smaller fixed battery coupled with the power hungry 1080p display kinda kill it for me.

^Which phone are you using now? You'll have to post up a review of the Note 2 when you get it!

an old POS Samsung charge, needed a phone when it and the htc thunderbolt were the only 4g options, lol.  Bad timing to lose my old phone!

will post a review ASAP, and my backcountry town surprisingly has 4g btw!

Please keep us updated on how your experience with the Note 2 is!
I'm currently getting sick and tired of how slow and clunky my Blackberry Bold 9900 feels.

I would have gotten the Note 2 if I hadn't had a friend with an S3 who let me try to carry it around for an hour. Even the s3 in my pocket makes it so I can barely walk. Let us know how you handle it!

I always see the Lebron James commercial with the Note. Was a good marketing choice by them to make it look smaller! :P
My wife I a also push her button . But now she have her button push by a different men. So I buy a keyboard a mechanicale, she a reliable like a Fiat.

In the end I couldn't do the note 2, so I picked up an S3 today!  The note 2 is just too big for me; it looks like you're holding a hardcover book up to your head while talking on it, lol.  The S3 is plenty big IMO and it offers the same effective real estate / resolution.  The only thing I really miss is the S-pen, and the huge battery would have been nice too.  Other than that, this monstrosity would only get in the way of my awesome mountain lifestyle so I had to go with the more reasonable alternative!

So far I'm loving the S3, it's definitely the best phone I've ever owned by far.  More powerful than my office workstation, lol.
