They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

Dem keycaps!   (Actually, are the normal keycaps just Model M keycaps that I can get at Unicomp?)

I like keyboards and case modding.  Everything about a computer should be silent -- except the KEYBOARD!

It's not as easy as simply using an at to ps2 adapter.  You need to use a teensy 2.0 and soarer's converter code for an xt.

But it's still pretty easy, I would say. I paid $30 shipped for my XT lightly used in box, and this one appears to be in somewhat better shape.
Either that's not the original box, or they have discarded the foam.
I actually have discarded my box, but still have the foam, so it's a good deal for me, but I'm not paying $57 for it.

So $100 all in?

Considering getting this. I've got all sorts of Model M's and love them all, but keep hearing that Model F's are even better. I know I can build a Teensy converter now, so, maybe I'll get this. I'm wondering if the layout will be too off-putting or not. I should have tried to get Akimbo's modded Model F a while back, but my keyboard addiction wasn't far enough along at the time.

The layout is impossible, but the feeling is exquisite.

The AT layout is much better, and when I get mine back out of storage and re-jigger the Enter\Backspace area to modern standards, it will be tolerable. But they were already cutting costs with the AT, with the plastic case and all.

The XT is a must-have for a serious keyboard collection, if you are a collector, but I doubt that one person in a thousand would want to actually use it on a regular basis.

Then I guess I'll hold out for an XT. I already have more keyboards than I could ever actually use... this is how it must be with women and those collectible figurines.

This is an XT. You may consider holding out for an AT or (better yet) a 122 if you want to actually use it.

I think it's mostly just curiosity on my part. I really like my Model M's, but Model F's are supposedly even more solid in terms of manufacture and keyfeel, so I'd love to try one out.

After you take a Model F apart, and see how it is constructed, you will realize that Model Ms are plastic toys in comparison.
