As far as I read I thought that was just a number somebody threw out. I didn't see anything from boost except if the quantity is limited it will be first come first serve

I would actually prefer a minimal amount of LEDs. Seems like this PCB would be a separate GB anyways, Although I wouldn't mind waiting for people to get what they wanted.

Sometimes you just turn the LEDs on for pictures and not for practical use. Turning on Caps lock, Scroll Lock, etc for a picture is not quite as picturesque.

IMO:

Switches - $40-50
Soldering - $35

Shipping from me to US is about $18 +/-

Switches can be lubed, stickered and springs can be replaced ahead of time if you are providing them to Alaricjs
