Sorry about the confusion. I made a mistake, what I meant is that the incrementation has to be multiples of $5.

If someone bids at say 11:57, the auction will be extended 15minutes from that time. Its basically so somebody can't come in at 11:58.59 and snipe the auction.

Seems like the rule #5 is not so welcome? If so I can remove this rule and end the auction at 11:59. I read the rule #5 from another member's FA thread and thought it's a popular way to do auction here. :\

I think its a very good method. I can't be sitting at the computer refreshing / posting every second before the end of the auction.

Just leave it as it is, that way people are more likely to just bid their maximum now instead of waiting to 'snipe'.
