Whoever is getting this should also ask if the seller can just ship the keyboard to reduce the price or at least reduce shipping rates

the keyboard itself is really nice though, just get a teensy and make a quick converter. :)

It is a PS/2 keyboard, just change the cable no need to make a controller replacement.

It is a PS/2 keyboard, just change the cable no need to make a controller replacement.

true, i guess i forgot about this while using it with a laptop with no ps/2 =(

oooo nice, i wanted to maybe pick up a blue switch board, if it werent for the scratches on the shift and space bar i would have snatched it in a second >_<

if it really is scratched up and not dirty, or whatever, don't sweat it too much, probably better to wait for one in better condition :)

Easiest way, just cut the end of a PS/2 cable and crimp a 4p4c connector on the end, then you have a detachable PS/2 cable and don't really have to modify the keyboard at all. Otherwise, just open the casebody up take out the pcb desolder the wires that lead to the 4p4c connector and solder on PS/2 cable. There is really not much complexity there.

like that, i picked up the line splitter at k-mart for a few bucks.  those are some thick coiled cherry ps/2 cables, but you can use whatever
