GMK/Cherry doubleshot modifer packs (Complete)

GREAT NEWS! GMK has agreed to offer a ONE TIME exception for us on the MOQ in interest of fostering an ongoing relationship. However there will be a small price bump on the Esc and CMYK packs in order to do this, which I feel is a fine compromise.
New prices are as follows:
CMYK-set (16pcs.) €27 / $36 (was originally €25.00 / $33.00)
ESC-set (3pcs.) €7 / $9.50 (was originally €6.00 / $8.00)
As you can see there was not a huge price jump, so I hope no one will want to pull out their order over this. I will begin sending out invoices and will be setting the payment due date as 3 May. I hope that will give you all enough time to get your budget in order to make your payments.

The modified prices are very nice imo. I know I ordered Purple and CMYK, but forgot if I bought the Escape pack

Also, I would like to bring your attention to quality control at GMK. There were some complaints about Originativeco doubleshot sets(of course made by GMK) at Korean forums.

Sure, there is plans for the future, but a step at a time. I think maybe on the 3rd buy we can do all parts at once so a full set could be had in one order. Have some patience while things work out and system is developed so future buys can be well coordinated, clear, and run nice fast and smooth.

Well said Lysol, let the 2nd GB be to make this set complete 104 set in mind covering everybody with different layouts so all is happy. But FYI once when we are done with the 2nd GB, 3rd one should be full set or you will see a lot of peeps dropping interest....

FYI I know this is out of the theme of this GB, but since you'll be running next the GB for thick PBT dyesub please do not make the same mistake that Imsto did..... For crying out loud do not do this!!!! LOOK, he had the windows and menu modifiers in letters instead of legends, WHY IMSTO!!!!!

Right. Things like this could happen, but it shouldn't be common problem with many agreeing that they have the same problem. Also, there is problem of who is going to bear cost of shipping and replacement. International shipping makes it not easy and simple when such problems arise.

Brilliant, take your time so that you eliminate any possible mistakes (which happen when rushed).

Please see if you can arrange a Quality inspection with them because if they just lump a few hundred keys with damage to them due to their own lack of inspection procedures, then what happens?

I hope they realize that they are competing in a crowded market now with the Chinese making great in roads into their own territory (Key-cap manufacture).  They have to at least compete in the area of quality control otherwise it just may be the last order they receive from us here.  Just had to say it.

Miami with SP failed to lift off for a bunch of reasons. Maybe it will be different now as there is a lot more acceptance with colors now than there was last year. I think more people are looking for different stuff and so many people are not stuck on beige anymore. But also, I think we need to take more care with our colorways so we are not in desperate fight to make the MOQ.

I rushed to make a diagram so it was more clear what I was talking about, and there were some error, but I think the gist of it comes across. I want to make effort to have a lot of flexibility and cover as many user as possible with different layout and language while attempting to keep the sets as manageable and inexpensive as possible. Having modular system will allow to use new elements with existing sets people have and so on. Certain colorways like white on black and black on white will have a much lower priority than making new things since they are mostly readily available still in used or new old stock often for much less than new set would cost. I don't see much reason to put common things on the forefront. I feel we should focus on making new colorways and stay away from repro stuff except the rarest of the rare.

Tbf Miami was ordered and taking payments, the thing that really ****ed the GB was people not turning up for payment and at the same time the site was constantaly down because of those ***got at rootworm attacking the site....

But it should be know, I'm down for Miami though if it happens again, defo need an ISO set, which the original GB didn't have!!
