[Sold] Custom Modded Pokers
« on: Tue, 12 March 2013, 13:54:05 »
Custom Modded Poker
You choose the options you want and I custom build it. Lead time for build is approximately two weeks.

Payment via Paypal (USD, goods, add 2.9% [3.9% int'l] + $0.30 PP fees)
Shipping AATW via USPS Priority Mail with tracking, insurance, and return receipt. CONUS: $20.00. Int'l: PM for quote.

***** If you have a very low post count, and/or do not have feedback on heatWare/eBay/etc., I will most likely require Paypal payment as gift, unless I know you. *****

Plate
A plate will make your keyboard feel more solid overall and help disperse some of the typing stress. It's optional, but most people do prefer it. Two plate options are available: Vortex painted steel plate, or The_Beast stainless steel plate. The_Beast plate is designed so the top switch housing is removable without desoldering, which helps with swapping switches, springs, stems, lubing, or stickering. Painting (including prep and sanding) of The_Beast SS plate is available at additional cost.

Lube
A mixture of DuPont Krytox GPL 103 oil and 205 grease (or equivalent) will be applied to all friction points of the stem and spring.

Stickers
Korean vinyl switch stickers will be appiled between the bottom and top switch housings to increase stability of the switch. Red or green available. Other colors available at additional cost and lead time (+approx. 10 days).

Stems
Available stems are: Black (linear), Brown (soft tactile), and Clear (hard tactile)

Springs
Available springs are soft (Blue/Brown/Red), medium-stiff (Black), and stiff (Clear). Korean springs (55g, 62g, or 65g) available at additional cost and lead time (+approx. 10 days).

Stabilizers
Cherry PCB-mount stabilizers are standard. Costar or Cherry plate-mount stabilizers available at extra cost. Cherry stabilizer mod available, if requested, at no extra charge.

LEDs
Your choice of red, green, or magenta LEDs in the standard switch locations (Esc, Caps Lock, Spacebar, R_Win, Menu, R_Ctrl, R_Shift). Other colors available at additional cost and lead time (+approx. 10 days).

Options
  • WASD LED mod
  • Plastic Poker case
  • Aluminum Vortex Pure case
  • Stock Poker ABS keycaps (new)

Prices
Base price: includes Poker PCB, lubed and stickered switches (including your choice of available stems and springs), Vortex plate, stabilizers, and LEDs. $140

also once people start viewing my iMav custom Poker I will send them your way. I might want a girlie gross explosion board for my sister from you.

Yeah, I just won't send anything without tracking and insurance, especially international. Unfortunately, USPS recently almost doubled their rates for international shipments. However, if someone international to me buys it, I will get an accurate quote and only charge them for the actual shipping costs.

would it be possible to get a full kit from you? i am interested in learning how to build keyboards like this. i just love the poker. it is what i always wanted in a hhkb but mucho fantastic with cherry. anywho, as i am sure you are aware finding all the parts to build a custom poker is no small task.  it would be super awesome if buying a kit was a possibility.

and keep it wu-tang baby.

Not really selling kits, as I'm more interested in offering my services than the parts. If you can pick up a used Poker, I can help you find the parts you need, if you need help or advice. :)

Yes, stock plastic Poker case. Unless I decide to sell one of my Vortex Pure aluminum cases I have coming. I'm hoping they get here today.

I sold one custom Poker with The_Beast plate (pending). So I only have Vortex plate left, unless I can get another plate from The_Beast. I mean, I know I can get another plate, but I don't know what the lead time will be. :)

The_Beast plate and stock plastic Poker case gone (for now).

Running low on Clear stems. Have to check my stock to see if I have enough for another Poker build. Brown or Black stems available.

Still have one custom modded Poker with Vortex plate available, with or without Aluminum Vortex Pure case.
