Got a new mouse in the mail today. A Sensei Raw Rubberized.
I was very surprised to see that the cable on the Raw version is actually thicker than the more expensive normal Sensei! The rubberized surface is the same material as the sides on both the Raw and normal Sensei, it's nice but I don't know if if prefer the "metal" surface on the normal Sensei or the rubberized surface. Other differences between the two is the lack of an LCD under the mouse to change between different profiles, which doesn't matter since you only have one profile on the Raw version. You also can't change the color on it, which sucks. I like my Pink Sensei more when it comes to looks. Oh, and it's also lighter because it's essentially a stripped down Sensei with a thicker cable.
Raw vs Normal:
+- Lighter (user preference basically)
+ Thicker cable
- Can't change color
- Feels a bit cheaper
+- "only" half the DPI, ~5,5k vs ~11k (I only use 800 so I don't really care)
- No cool LCD screen
I've only faced one problem so far, the drivers can't handle two Sensei's at the same time. Had to unplug my Sensei and reboot, couldn't use either of them after I plugged my Raw in.
