Isn't it only in one or two places? I believe Kansas City (one of the two, I'm leaning towards Missouri) has it in a small part of town, and they're talking about setting up in Austin. That might be it.

I believe Google just bought Park City, UT, so they could use their municipal infrastructure.

Might be off a bit on the details...

I don't know about Park City, but Provo, UT is apparently very close to a deal with Google.  I grew up in the Provo area, so my facebook is abuzz with fiber talk.

You're right, Provo is the place I was thinking of.

Gogle Fiber is available in some of Central Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. They plan to more to North and South Kansas City next but that is about a year at least. Sad for me as I live like 3 blocks away :(

I also have family in UT LOTS! being from the Smith family lol but yea I was seeing that and I think it would be super cool... when they put it in I very well might move for it. :D
