I don't know if it's because of dye on the grey or what, but it's a bit thin looking.

WASD has only the option of laser etched or engraved legends so technically there is no dye, and laser etched is not really made for bigger areas. Why is your keyboard screaming at you?

Oops yeah, not actually dye. And I realized it wouldn't be perfect but I was hoping a bit better. Otherwise totally happy with it

The look of the grey on white is starting to grow on me. Have a set of PBT with that color scheme coming in the mail.

definitely a personal preference. My last caps were upper left, and I like both, but I really wanted a sort of clean centered look across

Yup, my keyboard uses standard cherry MX profile key caps so it should be fine. I've also checked out WASDs info section on their key profiles and it's exactly the same as my current key caps.
