Filco KOBO gold cover - Phantom?
« on: Mon, 13 May 2013, 14:29:55 »
here's the link to the one I'm interested in.
http://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard_details.asp?PRODUCT=1021

This should fit the phantom right?

Does anyone know of a way to get this without ordering an extra the keyboard with it?

I really want to put one of my phantoms in this, but not if I have to buy another keyboard to do so.

thanks for any and all help in advance!

It's just a top cover. You'd need the bottom half to put a keyboard in it.

Bummer.  I know these have been out for a while.  Does anyone want to sell me their TKL version?  Does anyone have pics?

As far as what I've heard about them, they weren't worth the price anyway. I think they might've been a vinyl placed over a top cover. You might be better off sourcing a stock top cover and painting it gold yourself.

I think you could do it, if you could source the top covers by themselves. I wonder if the QFR cover fits on a Filco TKL bottom half?

The real question may be where to get a cheap bottom half?
