Try the vegemite in hot water, mix it. It becomes a very nice stock/soup. I always eat with rice when I'm too lazy to cook.

At least what I ate was "Bovril", but it's similar to vegemite.

Do you eat Marmite?  Same thing, pretty much.

Definitely not!

It is an acquired taste.

In Australia we can get a cheesymite scroll, which is basically a spiral bread roll with cheese and vegemite baked into it.  Not that much vegemite.  They are very nice :)

Have you tried Marmite XO? Unholy Zombie Moses that is an abomination on mankind. I do not think that was created to be enjoyed, and is one of the most awful things I've ever tasted.

As for a blood taste food, blood sausage is very yummy, you should try that if you get a chance. With some spiced rice and marrow on bruschetta. Mmmmmm

Awesome! Thank you zenuty, I actually had some at a restaurant the other night, I believe it was pan fried with heavy salt and pepper. It was white on the inside and purple on the outside.

It was very good.

Yes I ate lots of it even without knowing what it was  :p
