This seems like a good sturdy Keyboard for a fiver... is it?
Metal Base... non-clicky as far as I know?

It's basically just a cheap, non-clicky IBM keyboard.

If that is the equivalent of a KB8923, then it is one of the best rubber domes from the early 1990s-early-2000s

They turn up regularly in second-hand stores around here, in need of a good cleaning.

According to clickykeyboards, it's just a cheap rubberdome.

KB-6323 is a Chicony 6323. So yes, it's one of the good rubber dome boards.

As the others have said, it's domes, but not bad at all by dome standards-- quite heavy (for domes), and held together entirely by screws (not clips), so it's practical to disassemble for cleaning. Of course, it's still domes, so you get the typical dome issue of feeling like you're walking through mud when gaming on it, and extra fatigue when typing.

Also, if it is assembled like the KB8923, after you remove all the screws on the back, there are 3 or 4 more hidden under the keys that have to be removed from the front.

Thanks for your replies all :-)
I've ordered one for my office (they're paying) ...  Not bad... Brand new for just under £10 ($12.50).
I'll upload some pics when I get it :-)
